The standard concentration is 3000-4000 ppm (3-4 kg of salt per 1 m³ of water). A 30 m³ pool needs 90-120 kg of salt on the first fill. Low-salt systems (Intex, Bestway) run at 1500-2000 ppm (1.5-2 kg/m³).

Yes. Tablet salt dissolves slowly, is 99.5%+ NaCl and carries none of the additives that cloud pool water.
How often do I need to add salt to the pool?▾
Salt does not evaporate with the water, it stays behind. You only top up when the level drops through splash-out, filter backwashing or a partial water change. Check the concentration with a tester weekly.
