The main logistics challenge with salt: it's heavy and cheap. A 25 kg bag costs 200-500 UAH, but Nova Poshta delivery can be 100-200 UAH. That's 20-50% of product value going to logistics.
Option 1: Nova Poshta (1-10 bags)
For small orders to regions, it's the only sensible option. Delivers anywhere in Ukraine, real-time tracking. But expensive for heavy goods - 10 bags to Odesa runs 800-1200 UAH.
Option 2: Company transport (5-120 bags, Kyiv area)
Cheaper than Nova Poshta from 5 bags. Next business day delivery, driver helps unload. Limited to Kyiv and 20 km radius.
Option 3: Warehouse pickup (any volume)
Cheapest option. Our warehouse: Kyiv, 2a Novokostiantynivska St. Mon-Fri 09:00-16:00. Car fits 4-6 bags, van 15-20, truck - full pallets.
Option 4: Logistics partner (5+ tons, nationwide)
For large volumes to other regions: 20-ton truck (~15-25 UAH/km), 5-ton truck, or consolidated delivery (cheaper but 3-5 days).
Tips from experience
- Combine orders with neighbors - collective HOA purchase saves hugely
- Order quarterly - one 20-bag delivery beats four 5-bag ones, 40-60% logistics savings
- Ship to Nova Poshta branch, not address - saves 30-50 UAH/bag
